A TREASURE GEM
The history of the building, its location and valuable architectural elements were the starting point, to create a concept providing sense and personality to the project. The owner, who is one of the biggest art collectors in Turkey, was captivated by the Nolla mosaics, the coffered ceilings and the original stained glass windows of this residence so our desire was to make it all come to life, return them to their splendor and create an elegant home with all the modern luxury necessities.
The Nolla paving, preserved in perfect condition, marked the aesthetics of the renovation and decoration of the house. In order to maintain its leading role, shades of mink stone were chosen and carpentry, walls, cupboards and kitchen were unified so that everything was contextualised but not highlighted.
The furniture in the main suite had to be in line with the very marked aesthetics of the Nolla flooring and the coffered ceilings. To be in line with it, a bespoke headboard was designed, upholstered in mink with embellishing brass lines, and neutral and black tones were chosen to create an aesthetic full of elegance and sophistication.
